The wilderness

Jack is a 20 year old visiting the French countryside.
The day he goes on a walk following ley lines to visit menhirs is a day he'll never forget.
With only a backpack and a good set of hiking clothes, he travels by foot through forests and fields, picking wild berries and climbing over fences and stone walls.
Little did he know upon reaching a menhir surrounded by cows that it would be his last day on Earth.

Yes, in fact, the nation of lore gods has just risen and have decided to bring him into their new world, full of the unknown.

A limousine cow pushes him towards the menhir with its nose. Jack responds by placing his left hand on the menhir and his right hand on the cow's head to resist it.
However, a mysterious energy starts to engulf him. It spreads and engulfs the cow too via his right hand.

And then, darkenss overcomes him.....
